The St Andrew’s Beach Ride is our signature ride here at Gunnamatta. In this mesmerizing journey, you’ll explore the coastal bushland as soon as you leave Gunnamatta stables by walking & trotting with your beautiful and gentle horse, then you’ll traverse the high sand dunes overlooking the expansive wide panoramic ocean view.
Riding along the beach (walk only), you’ll be able to watch the waves gently lapping at the shore, and maybe even step hoof in the water, with our experienced guides watching over you. There truly is no better way to explore the area than on horseback.
With a herd of over seventy-five horses, we have horses for all abilities and sizes of riders. Whether you’re a nervous novice or an Olympic champion; we guarantee that we’ll have a horse to make you feel safe, and have the time of your life.
Please ensure all riders are wearing long pants and fully enclosed shoes acceptable for riding a horse. Any rider arriving in unsuitable shoes will be provided with an option from our small selection – however all sizes not guaranteed.
Gunnamatta Trail Rides advises you bring a jacket with you in case of rain, as rides will continue regardless of weather – except in extreme storm conditions where you will be contacted to reschedule the booking.
